I've said this before, I would have played in the Summer not right after football ended.

In the Summer football fans are counting the days.

Remember the "Europe NFL"? Danny Wuerffel won their Superbowl and was MVP. It didn't last long.
Money stupidity? And they should have waited a year more allowing more fan-yearning antsyness.and hard-balled negotiations for ideal tv contract on major network. They made it look silly being rushed like they were selling snake oil. It was a decent representation of pro fb and it certainly would have gotten better.
