Is that we know we could have scored 90 pts if we wanted to. After last year, I wanted EMU's blood on the field. And the Gators delivered.
Just win baby. Nobody cares about anything else. If coach wants to punch a hole in the wall, I could care less. as long as he wins. The Original DC said:Is that this is the first mostly peaceful week many of us have had since last October. No bashing, no hating, just reading about how good the Gators were. It's refreshing.
Christmas and Birthday wrapped up in 1.bayou gator said:With regards to offense, this is the best Sunday morning in about 5 years. For the first time since Mullen left, I feel like there's some hope for the offense. After a nightmarish run of Addazero, Cheeseburger, and Peas for our OCs... today feels like Christmas.
Mullen had no clue what to do with Leak and a bunch of real receivers.bayou gator said:With regards to offense, this is the best Sunday morning in about 5 years. I know I was saying it.And yes, it certainly is a wonderful feeling to be able to play the young guys and get them some game experience because of a comfortable lead against a cupcake. It's been a while since we've seen that around here.

EMU is a bottom ten team.
Seven game losing streaks have a tendency to make the natives restless.aka said:Not dreading the message board is kinda nice. Some of you seem almost human.
I'm going to be skeptical until I see it work against a real team.NavetG8r said:T REX;n44843 said:I am anxious to see the O vs a good defense like Bama's.

I doubt anybody disagrees with you, but you have to admit, it's been years since our offense has been able to put up 600+ yards on ANY defense, even the cupcakes. We saw undeniable offensive improvement yesterday. Can you at least admit to that?
He was good last year. He just didn't get the chances every game.gardnerwebbgator said:How about Velez with the perfect PK day, including 3 FG's? Very encouraging.
Oh, I get it.aka said:Not dreading the message board is kinda nice. Some of you seem almost human.
need to keep kickoffs in boundsdivits;n44850 said:There were a lot of best parts about this game....
Kicking game has greatly improved. 48 yard punt average, field goals made.
Passing game looked fantastic. Driskel is in his element in this offense. His long passes were on the money with (2) 50 yard passes dropped and one 50 yarder incomplete due to PI. He could have had over 400 yards passing today in only 3 quarters. Even though he threw a lot of short completions he still had to throw it 30 yards on a rope to get to get some of them. Saw only two questionable throws but no interceptions. Harris looked fantastic throwing and gives us another great option at QB.
Running backs all ran tough. We're deep at tailback for sure but I still like Taylor back there the most.
Defense looked great though not really tested.
Debose returning kicks.
Receivers looked great but still had 3 or 4 drops including the two previously mentioned big ones.
Play calling. GOD, how refreshing!
Only concern I had was kick return coverage. But all and all the kind of game we've been expecting. Let's build on it.
