This is what actual journalism looks like: thorough research and connecting the pieces of a story together with minimal editorializing and opinion-based spin.

As the Horowitz report made clear: the Obama DOJ was an utter disaster for the rule of law in this country.

              Exactly.

The last several days on NPR and local coverage, I have been shocked with the terms 'we' when referring to the Democratic party tactics vs the term the 'Republican party'. They are completely clueless on it. It is embarrassing.

The funny thing is: they're aware of the problem. Politico (hardly a conservative publication, though they do at least *try* to be more balanced than most) did an analysis post-2016 election and the data shows pretty conclusively that the national media is clustered in a bubble that's only gotten worse:

Nearly 90 percent of all internet publishing employees work in a county where Clinton won, and 75 percent of them work in a county that she won by more than 30 percentage points. When you add in the shrinking number of newspaper jobs, 72 percent of all internet publishing or newspaper employees work in a county that Clinton won. By this measure, of course, Clinton was the national media’s candidate

The Media Bubble Is Real — And Worse Than You Think

But awareness of the problem doesn't appear to actually generate any sort of accountability. The media has doubled-down on "woke journalism" and "progressive" causes.

I never trusted Wray. Dude looks like a weasel to me. Trump was getting some really bad advice in the early parts of his presidency.

That's the problem. These NPR people and the higher echelons in the FBI and the Department of Justice, in short, all the bureaucrats thinks the government belongs to them. They forget that the government belongs to the people. That's why we have the Second Amendment so that if the bureaucrats take the government away from us we can do something about it.

But it's too late for that sort of thing now.
