Jaguars rumors: Fans might have found GM Trent Baalke's burner on Twitter
The Jacksonville Jaguars fall short of expectations in 2023. While there wasn't just one reason behind their failure to make the playoffs and win the AFC South,
general manager Trent Baalke certainly played a part. If you ask him, though, it was the coaching staff's fault for not developing the players he drafted. And if you go onto Twitter, you'll find an account that will side with him while routinely showering him with praise, maybe more than he deserves. This has fans asking if Baalke could be the man running the account.
Not long after Baalke held his end-of-the-season press conference, Jaguars fans started to talk about a Twitter account that showed unquestioned support for the embattled general manager, user @BroDawg4.
During his exchange with the local media, Baalke was asked why he didn't bolster the pass rush last year. He responded that he would like to know who was available. When the press corps brought up Leonard Floyd, Calais Campbell, and Jadeveon Clowney, among others, he said he didn't live in the past. Coincidentally, BrowDawg4 said last July they didn't need any of those guys.
In a similar exchange, BroDawg argues that the roster "wasn't awful" last year, seemingly backing up the moves or lack thereof Baalke made last year.
