Could also be the smell of soggy French fries and low quality deli meat, set to a backdrop of trash lined streets and single-location automotive repair shops, with a hint of toxic wind drifts from a nearby heavy polluted river.

I mean I don’t know. I’m just throwing out other possibilities.
It is kind of amazing how people from the east side of a shiiiitty state look down on the west side of a shiiiitty state.

It’s where the people in the southern part of a sh1tty state make fun of the people in the northern part of a sh1tty state

Speaking of…
Riveting MACtion in the DC Marriott tonight!

(Not sure what language that is though)

This might be an unpopular opinion but these QB slides should end. Waiting until the final millisecond to give yourself up while up until that point the QB and the defender were in full send mode. It's unrealistic to expect people to be able to pull up like that when they are already leaning in to tackle. If you are a QB and you take off, you're now a running back. Play football like a man, run out of bounds, or give yourself up when there is a lot more space, otherwise injuries will continue to happen. If a defender is within 5 yards of the QB running the ball, then no QB slide.

Yeah, tell that to the owners with a quarter billion tied up in their QB’s contract. If anything, expect even MORE protection for them…not less.

There is more protection in what I said.
Don't give yourself up like that when you're within 5 yards of a defender, it must be outside of 5 yards. Giving themselves up so close is what leads to the injury, as opposed to actively trying to counter a tackle.

If they want to make this schit flag football then do it, make the change

And yet Chris Leak is still getting booed for that time he took a slide half a yard short of a first down. You can't have it both ways. I agree the slide should go.

My point is, draw a line somewhere logical.
People can't expect physics to not exist. There has to be a point when the QB can no longer slide and have protection for it.

Can we also not have that Asshat throw an elbow into the QBs noggin?
You can hit someone without braining them

Jaguars placed QB Trevor Lawrence on injured reserve. His season looks to be done.

@Jaguars
We have placed QB Trevor Lawrence on the Reserve/Injured list.
