You should check out the audio library channel and copyright free music channel on YouTube. They have some good music on them for free, just shoutout the artist in the description. You do have a good voice for the podcast I voted only okay because you seemed a little blah or flat or matter of fact. What's your recording setup mike and software and whatnot?
I picked out that intro music and paid like $5 for it 5 years ago. I also paid $5 for the voice guy to introduce me. It's all I need.

As far as my "flat" voice, I'm a dry kinda guy and that's generally what you're going to get. If someone is looking for a lot of shouting and blaring laughter and flailing of arms about, they would have to look elsewhere. I understand it may not be for everyone, and those people will have to settle for "exciting" podcasters like Pat Dooley. Some people like the dry, some people get put to sleep by it.

I'm just using a cheap microphone and Audacity, the free audio editor.

You overpaid for the music, but the intro from Grace more than made up for it. Perhaps "flat" and "dry" is one way to describe your voice, but I took it as matter of fact. When I listen to podcasts, I do it in the car during my commute, so I might have been subconsciously been comparing you to guys on the radio - most of whom I find annoying. The highest compliment you can ever hope for from a person is that they'd listen to the next one; so here you go: I'll listen to the next one.

My first thought was to feel a little sorry for Ox , even before the fact, owing to the toughness of his audience. But after further deliberation, phukk that. He created this Frankenstein, now he has to tend to it. Serves him right.

If they REALLY hated it, they’d be a lot more harsh than this.

I love the intro music, it's classic for 2 reasons, first its like retro porno background music, and second, its the intro song since the podcast first started.

Great job ox. I always enjoyed these and missed them tremendously. Looking fwd to the post game spin!

As long as you're okay with it so am I bubba. My intention was to give some genuine feedback for someone who could take a step and make it really good. (On my channel everyone is either over the top nice or incoherently rude. I get no good feedback)

If you are X amount of excited in real life then on a recording it sounds like 80% of X. I'm not saying put on a performance, just suggesting you have a cup of coffee before jumping on the mic.

The elderly muppets thing is a real knee-slapper.
