I picked out that intro music and paid like $5 for it 5 years ago. I also paid $5 for the voice guy to introduce me. It's all I need. You should check out the audio library channel and copyright free music channel on YouTube. They have some good music on them for free, just shoutout the artist in the description. You do have a good voice for the podcast I voted only okay because you seemed a little blah or flat or matter of fact. What's your recording setup mike and software and whatnot?
As far as my "flat" voice, I'm a dry kinda guy and that's generally what you're going to get. If someone is looking for a lot of shouting and blaring laughter and flailing of arms about, they would have to look elsewhere. I understand it may not be for everyone, and those people will have to settle for "exciting" podcasters like Pat Dooley. Some people like the dry, some people get put to sleep by it.
I'm just using a cheap microphone and Audacity, the free audio editor.
