The reality is Napier can be fired at any moment, sources tell CBS Sports. Questions abound, too, about the future of athletics director Scott Stricklin, who serves an interim university president
with a board of trustees comprised of powerful political players in the state.
What in the holly hell is this crap? Powerful political players? Look at the BOT. Do any of those people (I'm trying to speak nicely today so I can win a bet from someone who said I'm not capable of not criticizing anyone before 11 am today) look like they're powerful or a political player? We've already covered the multi-colored hair "power player" in earlier posts so I won't beat that dead woke vegan (I mean horse) again, but our BOT doesn't have John Morgan on it. The only two members that are anybody of importance is Heavener and Ridley (Chairman of Augusta National). I need to donate to DeSantis and try to get on that board.
When reached for comment on the future of the football program, Stricklin offered to CBS Sports: basically, Strick gave a Kamala Harris word salad non-answer...he avoided answering the question and deflected to the success of our Gator athletic programs, blah blah blah. What did CBS Sports expect Stick to say? "Well, I haven't eaten or slept in a week from the stress and worry of losing my job due to my idiotic incompetence. I never should've banked on Billy. My wife left me. My kids hate me now. My dog bit me. Life sucks. But hey, I'm getting the Swamp a new facelift, so life is good".
