Suddenly there was a ground shaking roar, an explosion of hot gas and molten lava spewing out of the dormant Volcano. Allah save us from disaster. Mt Rocky Top had blown her top sending death and destruction in a pyroclastic flow rushing down her slopes. Run, run, run for your life, SEC.
I'm not sure I've ever seen anything like it. In one week, a mere seven days, the forgotten Tennessee Volunteers have gone from a losing middle of the pack SEC team to high octane offensive juggernaut that is now a 3 point favorite over #15 ranked Missouri presently the leader of the SEC East Conference. Am I dreaming? Somebody pinch me so I can come back to earth.
UT tallied 45 points to beat Steve "Visor Boy" Sp;urrier's Gamecocks in Columbia,and one week later racked up 50 points against shell shocked Kentucky. .Now we're loading up to drop bombs on high flying Missouri, the team currently leading the SEC East allegedly on their way to Atlanta. .Wait a minute. wasn't Missouri, South Carolina and Kentucky the same three teams that made your life miserable in the Swamp? Do you see the connection? Maybe we lost to Florida but we're kicking the ass of those teams that vanquished you.
What about Joshua fighting the battle of Jericho? Yes Lord.we have found a second string sophomore quarterback that overnight has morphed into one of the top 3 QB's in the Southeastern Conference. Dobbs threw for 303 yards, 2 TD's and ran for 166 yards, 3 TD's against South Carolina. The next week he put up 297 yards 3 TD's and ran for another against those Wildcats.. I"m not sure even Peyton had such spectacular stats in back to back games.
What say, you, SEC? How about them Vols? Yes, indeed, our star is rising with a rapidly improving head coach , a talented star quarterback and a fan base chomping at the bit to come alive in the SEC Dance Junior n Lulu, dance!!!!!!!!!!!
Golden days are ahead for Tennessee.
