The activity is pretty impressive for this time of year. It will probably slow down once the newness of the board wears off, but this isn't bad considering there are no major sports happening in college right now. Plus I am sure we will get some GSMB stragglers who have yet to sign up and some new sign ups.

I think you are spot-on. If that wasn't a mistake then I'm sure that it was search engines (bots) checking out a new site. There are over 300 bots listed the US database, worldwide there would be thousands. Still the member sign up is going great..
