Best of luck to Kelvin. He was a good, loyal Gator and worked his butt off. I don't understand all the denigrating remarks.

RBs have a limited shelf-life and it was time for him to go.

So you have never seen a runningback use his hands to block a rush defender like this:

The need for a strong chest, and explosive legs muscles aren't needed in the NFL?

Fair point... I was thinking about running and not about blocking (which is definitely key)

Kelvin was one of my favorite guys this past year. Good luck to him in the draft

Fred didn't do much until his senior year. I suspect Kelvin had a better junior year than Fred.

Edit: Kelvin had 2100 yards and 23 tds in his first three years and Fred had 1600/18. And Kelvin did it behind one of the shyttiest lines that a P5 football team has ever fielded.

I know, I know, Kelvin sucks. Back to your normal programming.

Yep I think his size hurt him when it came to making that decision. He doesn't have good size for that in the NFL to block as a RB.

Driskel's first two passes Thursday were intercepted. The Not For Long league, lol.

I think Coach just randomly picks threads to resurrect.

Thursday night sealed his fate, wondering if they will practice squad him.
Would you? If you job depended on it? There is a quie realistic chance they will need a 3rd QB THIS year (and every year really bc of all the qb running). Even if you belief JD has the ablity to play in he leauge, I suspect everyone will admit he won't be ready in a few weeks.

I think SF put Taylor on the practice squad and Cincy signed Driskel as their 3rd QB. Kind of a suprising move there by Cincy. I guess the physical attributes bought him a year.
