i live in broward, i know the canes are trending up in tickets sales, but you can buy a season ticket in nosebleed for under $200

As I talk to friends and random Gators I run into in airports etc., I find a general sense of optimism. Most people don’t dig into it as deeply as this crowd does. But it will take a real shift in success to overcome the general sag in attendance.

Not surprised. I saw a billboard advertising them “as low as $15”. When you have to sell the deal, rather than the product, it’s a bad sign.

Combination of change in student culture, a decade of disaster, and an aging population that can no longer attend and isn’t being replaced. Not really putting this on Mullen, though he was never going to be that “spark” guy that changed things immediately. It will take considerable improvement on the field to stop the bleeding.

In my opinion, ticket sales are down for students because they started offering single game student tickets a while back and most people don't want to drop the $140 for season tickets.

The seats that are perpetually empty are the top of the student sections and the Sunshine Seats. Everything else is typically full, save for the occasional visiting team who doesn't bring enough fans. So however they can get more students to get tickets and more people to sit in the worst seats in the house, that'll solve it.
