I’d also replace Armstrong with Torrey Davis. Both basically were on the team for one year. Torrey’s goal line stand stop in the title game trumps everything Trace did in the entire 1988 season.

Not sure I would place that much value on one play especially when you consider that he was basically unblocked on the play
I can’t praise a guy who couldn’t stay eligible for more than a week

No love for Ed Chester? I always thought Marcus Thomas was damn good even though he played on mostly irrelevant and weak ass teams.

Bullard is probably the most versatile DL we’ve had.
He got stuck into the middle when he was a little light, 255-260, but never batted an eye...grew every year and was about as unstoppable of a dlineman as you'll see in CFB by his last 2 years. Some people need to go back and watch his senior season....I don't remember him losing at the los that year....period.

His technique was very solid. I dont know if he was 100%, doubt it, but he was the best DL on that line for three years.

Some people think the only job of a DL is sacks. Those people are chicks, whether they know it or not. Give me two or three run pluggers up front and I can blitz with anyone on the field on third and long.

Most of these b*@#$ azz RUSH specialists are such a liability vs the run Im surprised the offense doesnt run at them every single play.

Thomas named his belly "Scoop" and a friend and I had a good time with it. Scoop was caught smoking weed a couple times and sat out. Wondering if Scoop was going to sit out the bowl game. You have really had to be creative to make gator football fun the last 12 years.

It's amazing to realize that David Galloway and Robin Fisher (nos.2&3 on the list), were both on the same defense as Dock Luckie, Scot Brantly, and David Little.

And they didn't win a single game all year.

When you’re so bad at QB that Manute Bol is starting behind center by year’s end, you ain’t beating anything.
