I was reading the top 25 article on Gator Sports and they have Auburn at # 6, meaning Bama will be top 5.
Auburn beat Bama last year.
They have more returning starters coming back then Bama.
They return their QB
They are playing with the same offense with the same offensive coordinator as last year.


The only reason I can think of is Saban. He generates that much respect that he vaults them to the top every year. It reminds me of 2012. We had beaten Ohio State in the Gator Bowl the season before and returned more players than they did, yet because Urban was their coach, making them a top 5 team and we were ranked at 25.

You just never know. I mean look at OSU, they've lost their best player before the season even starts. Teams that were lucky last year (Auburn) might not be so lucky this year. It's wait and see time.

Auburn has something like 7 ranked teams on their schedule. That's probably why.
