I’ll get heat for this, but while I think Army-Navy belongs on the list, it shouldn’t be that high.

Lsu-Ala just became a big rivalry the last 10-15 years because of implications, which tells me this is a younger, national sportswriter view. Wouldn’t make my Top-10.

No one cares about Usce-Clemson. No one.

And even fewer care about Utah-Byu and the anime porn fascination that runs rampant through both sides.

I do like the uga-jail reference.

What criteria, if any was used?"

Georgia vs Georgia Tech is more intense than Clemsux v Cocks!

I know the list is a joke and all; but I can think of almost a dozen rivalries than have far more national relevance and interest than Pitt-WVU.

Florida - UGAy
Florida - f$u
ND - Michigan
ND - USCw
Texas - Texas A&M
(hasn't been played in awhile, but it'll come back)
Oklahoma - Oklahoma State
Oregon - Oregon State
Ohio State - Penn State
Michigan - Michigan State

All of those games have tradition, a history of good games, thrilling upsets, and not infrequently end up affecting the national championship picture.

When was the last time Pitt was in the top 5? It's been decades, surely.
WVU was last in the top 5 during the 06 & 07 seasons (going off memory).

Every single one of the rivalries I mentioned has had top 5 teams in it at some point over the last 5 years and definitely in the last 10.
