Pictures look great, how did it turn out?
Perfection. Thanks for that previous post about Aaron Franklin. That was spot on. However, I didn't do the "Texas" style that he was making, I did more of a Carolina style. I added a wet baste at the end, post pull.

That's part of the fun is to add your own style to it. I personally prefer Texas BBQ so i don't change much to what he did but still make a few changes here and there. Glad it turned out well

Smoked my first brisket on the Traeger. 13 lb hunk of meat and smoked it for 14 hours at 250. Simple salt & pepper seasoning.

looks pretty good. how'd it taste?
Not a lot of juices on the cutting board, was it moist?
looks like a small brisket, at 13 lbs, it is though.

It was extremely moist, but I let it rest on the Traeger after it was done. Is 13 lbs small?

Looking good! Got a pellet pooper for Christmas and working through the curve from running a stick burner for 20years. Not quite the smoke at all and I am not sure of the foil wraps yet, but sleeping at night is nice!

Did some jerk wings in a marinade first
Publix jerk seasoning
Sesame oil
Soy sauce
Grated ginger
Grated garlic
Lime Juice and lime zest
Olive oil

I did my standard blackened wings at the same time and the jerk smoked them (pun intended).

Here are some photos from a Valentines beef tenderloin.

@G8trwood Where did you get that grate shelf attachment on the front? Also, you have a 2nd shelf inside the barrel?

Mine is a smoke daddy and it came setup that way with two shelves and the front shelf.. I think the front shelf is an add on accessory, but was part of a fall special.
