Recruiting Transfer Portal: RB Jakobi Jackson transfers to UF

Trust is earned. I’m sure you watched the games. I’ll believe they know what they are doing(at a high level), when it shows on the field. I think we look back and find they let too many good players leave due to an expectation they would land a larger class then have the portal to work. Now they have no choice but to work the portal. The presumption is the players that left were not good enough to play SEC ball, but that their portal transfers will be.

I’m all in with Napier but at this point I wish we could get some communication on what’s happening….either directly from the coach or from some true insider. There has to be some talk going on. How much is this about lack of talent? How much is this about pushing out bad or lazy attitudes? How much of this could be some players just don’t like the coach? Or some of these guys are not happy about their playing time?

I think the answers are easy on some of these guys but not so much with guys like Borders.

I’d really like to hear what the smoke is out there….

I refuse, I refuse I tell you!!, I refuse to go into any new season with absolutely no hope at all for a trip to Atlanta.

Yeah, LSU made it to Atlanta and got crushed like bugs. Butters managed to take us to Atlanta twice so we could be the sacrificial lamb. While I suppose it's nice to win the division, going to the SECCG knowing you have no chance to win sucks balls.

Maybe something from an “insider” will come out. Don’t think we’ll hear anything official other than “We wish ——- nothing but the best and thank him for his time with the program.” Maybe Edgar will get toasted and start spouting off about something he knows (or doesn’t). Coaches aren’t going to reveal any details much on departures. Could create a trust issue with the players and the staff.
