Watching syracuse @ pitt... because it's football. Krull has dropped two passes so far that hit him square in the hands. That might explain why we didn't see him used more while at UF.

Also, Brad Culpepper's son threw a long TD pass coming off the bench in the 1st half.

No biggie, he can always fall back on that lucrative African American studies degree.

Heard someone say on Saturday that they fully expected Gatewood to be cleared this week and eligible this year. His reason was simply that the SEc wasn’t going to let him play his first game against his old team and possibly beat them. Sounded crazy, and I kind of dismissed it, but here we are.

It just means more, I guess.

2 or 3 weeks ago I heard a couple of the SEC radio guys talking about Gatewood and they said at best he was the back up this year and maybe even 3rd string. I don't think him beating Auburn was ever going to be an issue. That said please Jesus don't let the SEC make Franks sit out vs. us out of fear of him beating his old team.

Yeah, but just think....if Franks is THAT bad, how bad could the guy be backing him up???

You know what....nevermind, let Franks play.

Yeah, I’d never spoken to this person about sports. I don’t really know them. But he was very matter-of-fact about it, which I thought was strange. Probably just coincidence, but it was interesting that he just said it on Saturday.

Do we have a chance here?

Absolutely. He's from Lakeland and 3 of his HS teammates are on our team (Graham, Zip, and Summerall). Hammond (JUCO commit) was also a teammate of his. I'd say he either comes to UF or goes to UCF. No way he goes to FSU and Miami's RB room is in better shape than ours w/ young RBs.
