I can’t disagree. Choker has already played a 205-210 pound DE last year and a 230ish wde in Polite. Brooks is the perfect size for Choker’s scheme.

Speaking of Venables, why do you think he’s not gotten a HC job yet? Do you think his salary being as high as it is means he’s not interested unless it’s a P-5 job (and an elite one at that)? Gotta figure he’d take a pay cut to show what he can do, right? Or would not have to? (Even Baylor was able to bump up Aranda’s $1.8M salary at LSU.)
