Never minded friends and grew to like it. used to just throw TBS on to catch Seinfeld so always watched a lot of Friends and Raymond too because it was on.

It’s always sunny in Philadelphia might be the closest thing to Seinfeld for me I’ve ever seen…so freaking good. They even did a parody episode of Seinfeld…so good

My in-laws love Raymond. I’ve tried to but can’t. It has some funny parts, and I can completely relate to the Italian mother’s treatment of her son(almost eerily so) and the subtle friction with her daughter-in-law. They absolutely nail that relationship. Maybe that’s why it’s never been my favorite. Not Seinfeld, but good show.

I don't know what season it's from, but "The Hamptons" has got to be a top 10 Seinfeld episode. It's got "shrinkage", the ugly/breathtaking baby, everyone seeing George's girlfriend topless, Kramer stealing lobsters...classic.

You are correct, great episode. It also has some of the intelligent humor and irony that came to define the show. When George and the girlfriend are driving out to the Hamptons and were about to spend their first weekend together, George thinks to himself how strange it is that by tomorrow afternoon he can touch his girlfriend’s boobs as much as he wants, but if he did it right then he would get slapped. That’s quintessential, overly analytical Seinfeld comedy.
