You got me curious...it was his 3rd movie. Next one was Mr. Mom which was a good movie as well. Another which followed 2 movies later was Gung Ho....which sort of went under the radar. I thought it was a funny movie. He got pretty big after this run.First Michael Keaton movie?
When I saw you post Gary Oldman, it made me remember another very overlooked actor....at least in my opinion. Gary Sinese. Not a huge load of movies, but great acting on his part in every one of his I've seen.Lots of good ones mentioned so far and Michael Keaton is underrated. Didn’t see Gary Oldman who is usually pretty solid.
@soflagator reminded me.
That Affleck film ‘The Town’ - Jeremy fuchin Renner.
He was fantastic in that as well as ‘Wind River’

Renner is awesome. He's incredible in the Town.
I also forgot Pesci. For all his great roles in Goodfellas, Casino, etc., With Honors may be my favorite.
Here is how i REALLY know an actor did a good job, like Renner did in The Town... I fukkin HATED him and wanted to punch and/or shoot him in the fukkin face everytime he did something counter to the plan.Renner is awesome. He's incredible in the Town.

I have several of those foam rubber bricks that you can throw at the screenSounds like you might be dangerous to sit next to in a movie theater.

To take it a step further in how well he nailed that part, I actually didn't really feel that way about his character. I always empathized with his situation. Where Doug consistently had a plan in place to get out, Coughlin couldn't wrap his head around any other life. Good guy but destined for a bad ending. I've known people like that and it resonates with me. So as much as he could be infuriating, his acting also made you(me at least) see that side as well.
Now his sister...
I understand sparkplugs are an acceptable alternative.As an Iggles fan you can relate... know it's a bad situation, but don't see a way out. So throw that battery.
