"Florida Football with Steve Spurrier"

It was on Sunshine Network back in the 90's. Sunday morning began with "Breakfast With Gators", a replay of the previous day's game. That was followed at noon by "Florida Football with Steve Spurrier" hosted by Mick Hubert. Don't forget to set your VCRs.

Good times, good times.

I don't "hate" people but back in the day, I HATED Spurrier. Once he left the Gators I started liking him and the Gators again... ;) Probably the same in reverse for pretty much every SEC school's fans regarding Saban and Bama... :fistbump:

He was OK with you hating him. It's 'cause he was beating you.

That’s fine–people can call me arrogant, cocky, whatever. At least they’re not calling us losers anymore. If people like you too much, it’s probably because they’re beating you

And busting your chops while he was doing it.

In 12 years at Florida, I don't think we ever signed a kid from the state of Alabama ... Of course, we found out later that the scholarships they were giving out at Alabama were worth a whole lot more than ours

Comedy gold.

False.

Watching highlights of his teams carving up the SEC was funny af. Remember Ray Goff? Mike Archer? :lmao2:

And the one liners...

After the Auburn library fire "...the real tragedy was that 15 hadn't been colored yet."

On Tennessee coaches "That will be the 14th time I've coached at Neyland Stadium...I've coached there more than some of their head coaches."

All of those funny lines were not during that show... and I probably have the vhs tapes to prove it.

Scrubs
Frasier
Wings
Golden Girls

Scrubs was great as well but after season 3 the quality started going down.

Frazier is one of the wife’s favorites

Golden Girls is also a classic. My wife’s favorite and memories of watching it with my grandmother.

Golden Girls reminds me of Mel's Diner (same era). Not great, but a staple at the time.
