It was on Sunshine Network back in the 90's. Sunday morning began with "Breakfast With Gators", a replay of the previous day's game. That was followed at noon by "Florida Football with Steve Spurrier" hosted by Mick Hubert. Don't forget to set your VCRs.

I don't "hate" people but back in the day, I HATED Spurrier. Once he left the Gators I started liking him and the Gators again... ;) Probably the same in reverse for pretty much every SEC school's fans regarding Saban and Bama...

He was OK with you hating him. It's 'cause he was beating you.

That’s fine–people can call me arrogant, cocky, whatever. At least they’re not calling us losers anymore. If people like you too much, it’s probably because they’re beating you

And busting your chops while he was doing it.

In 12 years at Florida, I don't think we ever signed a kid from the state of Alabama ... Of course, we found out later that the scholarships they were giving out at Alabama were worth a whole lot more than ours
