Looks like Callaway is out this week. Which is something we all thought might happen and even preferred he rest this week. But now Tyler Jordan is out for a couple of weeks.
Meanwhile, starting right guard Tyler Jordan will miss "a couple of weeks" after suffering a fracture of the orbital bone in one of his eyes.

Our OL was just beginning to mesh and he's an important piece to the puzzle. I sure hope we don't get bitten by the injury bug again this year, as I believe we can have a pretty good season if we stay relatively healthy. With our lack of depth and experience, losing a starting OL just sucks...On the flip side, it looks like Mac is considering moving big Fred inside to guard. Hopefully he'll match up better there than against the faster and more agile DE's that have been eating his lunch...

Dang I went back into the Sportsbook less than 30 minutes ago and doubled down on my rushing bets

This hurts, we at least have a tune up game to get the new line to gel.

I hope you're right about Fred, but when I watched him he didn't get out-agiled...he got bull-rushed and pushed back at will against a DE he should have been able to lift and throw. I'm hoping his ankle was the issue - but if it isn't healed he will be pushed into the QB from guard spot too.

Tyler Jordan is just a bit undersized for guard. He really should play center. This could workout perfectly.

The quad will only heal with rest and treatment. Callaway needs to sit out this week.

LB Jeremiah Moon is out with a thumb that required surgery.

CB Putu rolled his ankle.

The meager depth is getting tested across the board and could be our Achilles heel.

Perhaps the cyst expanded and put pressure on the zygoma bone.
Pressure on bone causes it to "dissolve" some, thereby thinning it.
This principle is how orthodontics moves teeth. :D

Johnson would be massive for a guard. How he'd do there is anyone's guess, but he certainly shouldn't be playing tackle anytime soon.

This sucks. Hopefully Jordan will recovery quickly and whoever replaces him in the meantime does a good job.
