The U.S. Open is underway. Who ya got? I am pulling hard for Phil. Hopefully this is his year finally. He put up an even 70 in the opening round. This course is wildly different than any course we have seen in an Open before. There is no rough anywhere which lets you go at the green more often after a bad drive. This course is going to rely on its greens to test the players. The greens are big but the usable space on them is tiny. Should be interesting.
 
Dufner is finished. He likely won't even make the cut.
 
I wouldn't mind seeing Rickie Fowler break through in a major. Dustin Johnson is really fun to watch too, he is just a headcase. He usually has one good round then he blows up on the weekend.
 
Jordan Spieth keeps showing up at these majors. He could be the next great golfer. I was happy to see Snedeker playing well early. He stumbled a little bit but still came in with a 1 under.

I'll be happy as long as Keegan Bradley doesn't win. I can't really pinpoint why I don't like him, I think it's because he wears a flat bill hat. Only certain people can pull off the flat bill....He's not one of them.
