For those that don’t know, this guy had to have one of his hands amputated when he was 4 years old. Yet, he manages to put up 20 reps in the bench press and runs a sub 4.3 40 yard dash. Talk about an overachiever :eek3:

Well to be fair, not having a hand frees up a few ounces. That undoubtedly shaves a few tenths off the 40 time.

Let's hope they don't insult him by putting him on special teams.

Depending on the team he joins he might have to be a special teams player, there is no insult in that.

As a lifter, you’ll appreciate this.

When he was a kid, his dad made a wooden contraption to fit over the stump so he could bench evenly. He made lots of stuff with chains, straps, and cloth so his son could work out. Dad worked him and his twin brother out hard.

Dad also had him practice catching hard throws.

He was under appreciated at UCF until Frost arrived.

If I had a Heisman vote last year, he would have been on my ballot.

And not because he’s missing a hand.

I watched him two or three times last season. He's fast and strong and instinctive, but above all he plays with a high, high motor.

This kid is gonna make some NFL team very happy.

He's a converted safety. Came in under 190lbs. Weighed in at 227lbs. I don't know why more coaches don't try this. There are plenty of recruits each year that are slow safeties but could be fast linebackers once they gain the necessary weight like Griffin did.

Brian Urlacher is probably the best example of this.
