He's also a cousin of Lingard who was transferring in FROM miami at the time. So let's see. Local area, instantly the best at his position, formerly committed here, and family saying "come here, trust me it sucks there definitely don't go".

Seriously, at the time - he was a big miss. He supposedly got hooked by Ed Reed who was working there in a player development/off-field role. Yes, glad he didn't come (now) - but he was a borderline 5-star.

If we'd turned him away because of signs he'd be trouble--let's start with giant neck tattoo--then we could say that. But we tried landing him and felt confident we had him until NSD2. Every analayst had him as a Gator. I was hiking in upstate NY and will never forget the "seriously/wth" texts I received. Rumor has it that Ron was sitting in the war room and said something like, "did he just say miami?". So yeah, criminal future or not, we played the game and lost, so you'd have to say he was a miss. Take your usual pumping elsewhere.
