I just saw this. I know there are 100 scenarios
Citrus Bowl against Wisconsin.
Dooley was thinking citrus vs Wisconsin or Minnesota
I don’t necessarily care, but the whole NY6 thing seems to command more attention and respect. So I’m hoping for the Cotton against Cincy. New experience too. But I really just want to officially be 10-2 first and then have fans and players thinking about this.
If we end up in the Citrus Bowl against a Big 10 team, we should fire Strickland. We need to burn those fvkking contracts with SEC and Big 10 every damn year. It was cute in the 90s. So over that shyt.
Lol, that citrus bowl SUCKS,
How big of a blowout would UF-Memphis be? Consider the talent differential. 3) UGA 960 15) UF 836 33) Wisky 676 46) Minn 621 47) Utah 620 52) Vandy 605 61) Cincy 577 71) Memphis 553
The “Who Gives a Schit” Bowl. If you aren’t in the CFP, it’s pointless unless you are a MWC or MAC team or FSU.
Bowl games are BS. Coaches like it cause it's extra practice time in it.
I hate the idea of playing a G5 team. Literally no upside at all. At least with a B10 team, there’s a slight chance for recruiting ramifications. ACC of Big 12 is even better. PAC12 gives us a glimpse into the future, as it appears Stricken has decided to be an honorary member in the 20s.
Cincinnati? Are you effing kidding me?
After what Tebow & company did to them in New Orleans a few years back you’d think they’d had enough.
Worst scenario possible. I'd honestly rather play Michigan again than Cincy or Memphis
yep- our credit score is much higher than theirs
I'd rather play Cincinnati then another boring freaking big 10 team, they all suck.
The bowl predictions where I saw they paired us with Michigan made me want to puke
It all depends on who does what above us in the rankings. We've held steady as the top ranked 2-loss team the last few weeks, so it's safe to assume we'll jump either Oregon or Utah once one of them lose in the Pac-12 title game and we'll jump whichever one of Oklahoma or Baylor lose the Big 12 title game. There's also a good chance Penn St. and Minnesota will lose again, as well. So we'll have a high enough ranking to get into a NY6 bowl. The only way we'll get in the Orange Bowl is if Bama loses to Auburn and the committee thinks we deserve the Orange Bowl more than Bama. If by some miracle the SEC were to get three teams in the playoffs, meaning UGA beat LSU, Bama beat Auburn, and chaos reigned everywhere else, we'd be in the Sugar Bowl. But seeing how none of that is really plausible, we'll more than likely be in the Cotton Bowl against the highest ranked G5 team. So based on how all of their late season/championship games shake out, that puts our options at Memphis, Cincy, Boise St., and a long shot at App St. or SMU.
I hope we get to play Michigan for like the 4th time in 5 years
i think youre spot on
Doubt Grantham could figure out how to stop them.
