We all chalked this up a loss (well, maybe not as bad a loss). So we win the remainder of our games. And all is not so bad. Then we heart us some Muschamp and Foley because it will all be corrected and we can deal with adversity, no?. Fvvk it, I',m really drunk....

We all pretty much knew yesterday was going to be a loss, but giving up a school record amount of yards on defense and playing that badly on offense wasn't expected. There were moments where we could have stayed toe-to-toe with them throughout the game, and in basically every instance, we failed to make the necessary play and the snowball kept growing. People can blame whomever they want to blame for that, but it was a top to bottom failure to execute in key situations.

Agreed...it's called coaching.

Correcting top to bottom failures starts at the top.

Spelling police here - it's actually "you're ok" not "your ok", but hey, what else can I say after yesterday?

It's not coaching. How many coaches does it take to figure out that Jeff Driskel sucks because he is Jeff Driskel? How many times to you need to see UF's running backs to realize they are not elusive, lack quickness, and are slow? How many more passes need to be dropped to come to the conclusion that UF's receivers are mediocre? How long does an opposing quarterback have to stand in a pocket unmolested to know the Gators can't get to the quarterback? Where was Dante Fowler Saturday, did he even play? The Gators have a great corner in Vernon Hargreaves and a great punter, that's it. They are doing a much better job forcing turnovers than last year, but in every other facet of playing defense they have regressed from last year. The Gators are so bad that they get four turnovers and are still demolished. The score didn't reflect how badly UF was beaten. It's not the coaches, they can only put the players in a position to succeed. The players have to execute, and UF just doesn't have good players.

No way we should have EVER lost this game. Not in a coaches fourth year. Fan bitterness after losses to UGA and FSU will be off the charts. Foley needs to stop the bleeding now.

If nothing is fixed before Tennessee, Champ needs to look in the mirror for a long long time.

FYI...even Zook recognized the talent of a freshman QB and started Leak several games into the season.

And who exactly is responsible for bringing those players in? Whether we've recruited poorly, or simply failed to maximize their potential and/or motivate them, that responsibility falls squarely on the HC's shoulders. In either case, as boosters we've all paid someone very well to do it, and he simply hasn't.

But reality is here. If we don't have any good players then we won't be winning many game this year. And I can assure you that our recruiting class will be horrendous, further exacerbating the problem. Fair or not, that is our dilemma. If WM can't win with this roster--which is ludicrous in itself--then the reality is he has no shot of being successful here, because it's only going to get worse.
