Yeah, that’s pretty big news around here. Seems his parents have hired an Agent and he’s already getting bids.

Could this be the beginning of what I am thinking will happen eventually? That players will be able to switch schools mid season and PLAY? Never say never.

Probably correct. The next shoe to drop may be taking classes with a defined course of study will no longer be required. They are hired mercenaries, you know!

The kid should have stuck it out for one more game. They play Syracuse this week. Syracuse may need a QB next season.

What we are looking at is the destruction of the integrity of college football. Give all the power to 17-19 year olds to dictate to universities how they will be paid and treated, along with their free ride of a 4-year degree of course - hell just fold up the tent. Just like the pros, you realize that what they are playing for is just money, there is no love of school or its traditions, that only resides in the fan base. The hired guns on your team this year will be wearing the opponent's jersey the next.
