Frankly there may have been a better turnout for "Prayers for Cooter," rather than, "positive thoughts."

I scrolled by the first few times without clicking because it didn't look too serious. I figured maybe he was trying out for American Idol or something.

He texted me on June 7 and said he was hoping to go home the next day. I texted the 8th saying I hope it happened. No reply. I followed up yesterday and as yet have heard nothing.
But, when he texted he said he'd had a rough number of days with eventually 10 stints and a staph infection which was supposed to be under control. Last I heard.

@oxrageous Do you still have the hand written note that he sent in when he paid his lifetime membership?

I think so I will dig for it.

Same thing @PastyStoole said. No word for 10 days. I take it nobody knows anybody who knows him IRL. @Thick&ThinG8r was right, it can be weird and awkward when message boarders disappear like that.

A couple of you guys said you texted Cooter and got no replies.

Have you tried this new feature they have on some cellphones now, where you push a series of numbers and then you can actually talk to whoever you're trying to reach on the device? I did it the other day and it was amazing, it sounded like the person was right there in the room with me.

Seriously it's possible he's laid up and can't text but maybe someone would answer his phone for him if you called?

Lord, we come to you praying for our friend and fellow chatterer, CCC or chuck
He is a good man but otherwise irrevererant. He is one of us and
his contributions make us all a little better to face the day. If you have
the time or inclination please let us have him here for a little longer. Not knowing
the circumstances we will abide by your ways. But as you can see by our
ramblings we are hoping he will be back soon and healthy.
