Hmmmm..... Has he ever been vocal in the past? I think he said one thing about Mullen when he was hired. Something like they are going to feel Mullen innthe SEC East. That's it in like 12 years, until he unloaded on Slingblade last year. He obviously does not like this cajun idiot, and he has to know that doing this is going to stoke the fire of people wanting him back.

I'll be realistic with all of you. We will not hire Urban. He would be a short term solution, which yes fans would love, but he is not going to be our 7 to 10 yrs guy.
I don not have words to describe how much yesturdays ass kicking hurt BN chances of remaining our coach but I guarantee if we go 1-3, he's gone. I'm assuiming we will easily handle Stamford. I did not watch A&M vs ND so I can not comment on how that team is but BN room for excuses is paper thin at this point. Loose to A&M and then Miss State and he's out.
BN will have to immediately improve what ever is wrong with the defense and there are so many things that I won't get into it but it might be time to turn the rains over to somone other than AA. BN is also not capable of calling the offense so I woul dlook for that to change as well, like now.

No....I mean you got like 92 fuqing posts since 2020 and you gonna start you sentence with"I will be realistic all of you" Okay, I will be realistic with you, my gut tells me you don't know anymore or less than the rest of us about what's gonna happen in the next 6 weeks or 6 mos. for that matter. Have to point out that Urban wasn't a 7-10 year guy at Florida the first time. Nor, IIRC, anywhere else.
However, he is the kind of rare ("generational"?) coaching talent that can make a difference on a program, quickly.
That said, personally I don't think he'll ever return to coaching. But he's surprised me more than a few times over the years.
Is there anyone who would disagree that if Urban were to return, after 3 years we'd be in a better place than we've achieved since he left?
Add: and if he indicated any interest at all, would UF reply by saying: "send us an application with your resume and 3 letters of recommendation" ?
