          What do you make of all this? Garrett was set to meet a third time this afternoon with Jones, which only clouds speculation over whether he’s out or Jones is trying to convince him to stay on in another capacity.

          Meanwhile, the Browns have gone in quick order from “very interested” in Meyer, according to Bruce Feldman, who not coincidentally works with Meyer at FOX, to narrowing their focus on candidates with NFL experience.

          I think it points to Meyer waiting out Jones, and Haslam reacting to the back and forth taking place in Dallas. If Jones sacks Garrett and goes elsewhere than Meyer, I can see Meyer being at play in Cleveland, but as of now I think he’s waiting out the Dallas situation.

          I have a feeling Garrett stays at Dallas and Meyer never entertains the idea of going to the NFL.
