I’ve heard it before and in keeping with Leyer’s modus operandi of turning a blind eye it all sounds very true. Whether he actually said that though, I’d think he’d be too afraid that AH would pop a cap in his ass.

This is all an unfortunate misunderstanding. Urban was trying to help the kid avoid being drafted by the Bucs.

I think they got the quote wrong. Meyer said, "Don't f**king touch that Hawaiian guy."

Win at all costs can come with a steep price to the ol integrity. Perhaps, Meyer wanted to hurt his draft stock so as to discourage leaving early for the NFL.

Cuz he was really, really good.

"Integrity" is overrated.

I still don't buy that Meyer had anything remotely definitive that Hernandez was involved in that shooting. There's no debating the guy has character issues and allowed way too much to go on. So this is not about defending him. But when this took place, Hernandez was an EE-Freshman who'd never even played a game, and was a backup to Ingram. You really think he looked the other way on attempted murder, putting his entire life on the line, for that? Maybe, I guess. Just don't see it.

As for the opening article, that wouldn't surprise me at all. AH was a savage that Meyer used while he was here, but undoubtedly had no interest in once he was moving on. I could even see him doing it out of spite, just because he probably didn't want him to go.

This is years-old news. Why the hell is it coming up now?
Maybe because the fact that he's an amoral lowlife scumbag is still fresh news with his first game back from:

These silly unfounded rumors need to stop. I can't stand them.
Hernandez was valuable to Meyer as his drug supplier.
Meyer couldn't get off the floor without his drugs. Ask Shelly.

Maybe he let his coordinators take care of the dirty business?

Let me get this straight. You hate Zook, Meyer, Chump, Mac and Mullin. You prolly held a grudge against Spurrier when he left. So you haven't been a happy Gator fan since the last millennium.

I sure wish he was OUR amoral lowlife scumbag. OSU is going to win it all this year, and everyone knows it.

I hope this is humor, unless disaster hits Bama is winning again, maybe GA. Not OSU.

According to Shelly he couldn't get up with them either.

I don't hate any of them and love SOS. But Meyer's a bad dude, it's really not a secret, and Mullen's not qualified by evidence of his record unless we aspire to be the Cowbell East.
