And Mullen could be the Jags coach in waiting for a few (couple more likely) years then take over the helm from Urban when Meyer runs the front office. UF buys Dan out for 3 mil then Meyer hires him at 3 mil for OC and Mullens 6 million next season is covered. Small chance this happens but if Mullen is really disgruntled with UF then its possible. UF should make Mullen make the Gator DC leave but I think Dan is keeping him partly as strategy. You want me to fire Grantham? Okay extend me. Its a business as many Gators sitting out the bowl game proves.

Small chance Mullen resigns but if he gets some UF money and Meyer hires him why not? He does not want to be a lame duck coach next season. It would be too much stress.

 

I was just wondering about Charlie. Nice. But I know what you all are thinking what about Dan? Mullen with Strong and Meyer has worked well before so...

 

So you think he leaves 6 million plus a year to be an OC?

 

Grantham would be a much better choice.

 

No but we can hope. If Mullen is happy here no chance. Not sure he is totally happy.
