Wow, there is a program in worse shape than ours?
"2. Florida: When even a true Gator like Emmitt Smith calls for the starting quarterback to be benched on Twitter, you don't have to read a thermometer to know the temperature in the room. Sure, nobody expected Florida to beat Alabama in Tuscaloosa, but it's starting to look like the problem wasn't as much the offensive coordinator last season as it was the personnel. Jeff Driskel, bless his heart, just isn't an elite quarterback or even a very good one. And there clearly aren't enough high-level players at running back, receiver or offensive line to prop him up. It wasn't supposed to happen this way. Driskel was the No. 1 quarterback recruit in the country, and he showed flashes as a sophomore, but even then he was more moxie than talent. Now, it looks like Will Muschamp's commitment to Driskel, who was 9-for-28 passing against Alabama, could very well cost him his job. Why hasn't Florida recruited someone better? And why does Jacoby Brissett, who transferred from Florida after the 2012 season, suddenly look like a functional quarterback for N.C. State? The Gators' season isn't over, but if they're this far away from contending for an SEC title — and getting out-gained 645-200 yards indicates they're pretty far away — this is going to be an ugly, ugly few months around Gainesville."
We better hurry up and get a good coach before Michigan beats us to it.
