I work with a guy that has some connections to the program and he said Scott didn't recruit locally. Haven't looked into it to see if its true but if so, that is a "AR deciding to fling it 40 yards downfield to a man tripled covered instead of running for a 75 yard TD" level headscratcher.

From the tea leaves it looks to be Deion. Could it hurt us recruiting wise? Maybe a tad. Could it hurt FSU more? Very good possibility.

Recruiting to a power school is one thing. Building a brand at a struggling school is another. I think Deion could get kids excited about USF. Going to a 12 team playoff system is great for a non power 5 like USF.

Recruiting to a power school is one thing. Building a brand at a struggling school is another. I think Deion could get kids excited about USF. Going to a 12 team playoff system is great for a non power 5 like USF.

I don't see it, honestly. I remember when Charlie strong going there was gonna hurt us in recruiting. Right now he's got the the whole hbcu selling pitch going for him. He's not gonna have that at usf. The playing field is going to be alot more level at usf, no matter how you slice it.

Agree but low expectations at a P5 school with history. He will recruit Texas and Cali mostly. With USC leaving he’ll have a good shot at easy playoff births if halfway descent

Colorado seems like a smart choice. Boulder could be easy to recruit to, maybe get Coors funding for NILs competition is down. Big question is can they work the buffalo into the AFLAC commercials
