Your instincts are likely correct.
The irony is that he started a thread called, "VOTE!" and claims he didn't vote. Puuuhhhhhleeeeeze.
Amazing how Always disappeared when asked a direct, but extremely reasonable question
Quick analysis of the primary Governor candidates: Gillum (D) - Too liberal. Proposes unattainable social programs that would raise taxes. Questions over crime rate in Tallahassee and Second Amendment issues. Cloud of corruption over him, which he denies, but there's plenty of meat on the bone to vote no. DeSantis (R): Too conservative. Have serious questions about his health care plan, which he only released about a week before the election. Troubling voting record in the House with no moderate or centrist votes on record. Member of House Freedom Caucus, who has voted again and again on repealing the ACA with no viable replacement, putting millions of people at risk of losing insurance. Questions around his involvement with ultra-right wing figures. I don't see a middle ground with these two - both extremists of their parties which I want no part of supporting with my vote. Both have little history of compromise.
I did vote, but I did not make a selection for Governor.
Sounds like the 2016 Presidential Election.....two horrible candidates who are extreme.
Par for the course with him. Drive by poster.
The leftist narrative that DeSantis is a racist is outright laughable. Please list all of his racist quotes and stances.
So by not voting you allow a Socialist crook a chance? I voted "Early" for Steve Scalise. I am not even a GOP fan anymore. I'm an Individual Rights, Pro-Constitution, Libertarian Type. I want more Tea Party, Freedom Caucus candidates. But if Trump can secure the Senate and the House we can: Build a Wall, Secure Constitutionalist Justices, Keep this Growth and maybe Pay Down some Debt. Then we can be better prepared for the next OBAMA.
And then he shows right up when I say something
Beetlejuice Beetlejuice Beetlejuice
Who did you vote for florida senate?
I'm sick to death of the racist cudgel used by the left. It's insulting and defamatory and a weak crutch for people who lack critical thinking capabilities.
I voted Friday. First time in my life I voted straight repug. Never been so afraid of the Demcraps as I am now.
Thank you. Did you and other board members here vote Yes on Amendment 6? I would think that would be an automatic for anyone with any decency.
Voted. I'm most interested to see if the amendment to allow drinking before noon on Sunday's will be allowed at our favorite brunch spots.
There is a law in place that says restaurants cannot serve alcohol before noon??? Holy shiit. Is this in Florida?
There is no proposed Amendment about any such thing. He's obviously referring to a local law/ordinance. Yes, there was a time where many places didn't allow alcohol sales after midnight Saturday until Monday.....then it was noon on Sunday and finally changed to no restrictions as time marched on. It was very common.
Georgia just passed Sunday alcohol purchases a few years back. I believe that law passed in 2011. The catch is that retail sales cannot begin before noon on Sunday. Live in Smyrna which is in Cobb County.
