We need to evaluate where we are...

In muschamps 4th year we are hoping to make a bowl. That's where we are. I personally don't think we'll make one. If we lose to Tennessee I'll be taking wagers from anyone available that we don't. It's kinda funny I didn't think it was possible for this program to fall so low. I don't think some realize how bad we are. Muschamp is worse than gene chizick.

I hate to say this, but Law was right about Driskhole all along. I'd be okay keeping Muschamp another year if he'd put Harris in. I mean why the hell not? Harris can hand the ball off if that's the offense we're going to run. The Jones fumble was on Driskhole, and I'm pretty sure Harris can do better than that. I know that many have said you can't throw a true freshman out there, and I agreed up to now. We have to give Treon a chance. If for nothing else, we can start working on our future.

I thought the defense played admirably, but why can't we wrap up anyone? Who is that on? I'd much rather our guys be on SportsCenter for winning than making a hit.

I'd like to see Muschamp make it through this season. I think most underestimate the mess he inherited and the circumstances he's had. But if he doesn't make some huge adjustments after this week, he needs to go. I don't mind losing while we right the ship, but do something. Try something different. Even the middle aged women at the football party I was at knew that Driskhole sucks. So just try something different....anything.

Last year we were schooled by an FCS school running a 100 year old style that shouldn't bring surprises. I would have liked that he succeeded. I just don't see him being HBC material at this time in his life. A HBC knows he needs an offense, that will allow the defense to rest and be effective. Bama just scored to go up by 7, we get the ball and run it up the middle 3 straight times... nothing more to be said.

I'll be honest here. I had high hopes for our Offense under Kurt Roper. When I heard Coach Muschamp tell his interviewer at half time "we need to run the ball more", I thought about Ox's first podcast and what he said about "what happens when Driskel throws an interception? Will he pull the plug on Roper and go back to his old ground and pound ball control philosophy?" My first thought was "Ox nailed it". Then I realized even Kurt Roper can't save us if Muschamp won't let him.

Exactly this. Running out the clock and two straight pound the middle three and outs sealed the game for Trailerbammer.

Mushchimp should send Saban an early Christmas card for calling off the dogs and not scoring 60 on us.

I too had high hopes, thinking a decent offense with our defense will easily win the east and maybe more. Hard to believe that we are that inept. The first game we played against the cupcake showed the potential the offense has, but starting in the KY game you could see they didn't trust JD and became conservative. After the pick at bama they did it too. And not trying to score with 2 minutes before the half and having time outs??? Knowing they get the ball to start the half, you have to try and score there. Lousy coaching bottom line.

The fact is, a new QB could make a huge difference, but fat chance of that.
