We started the weekend off with our #1 Lady Gator Gymnastics beating #5 Bama with three perfect 10's, then our Men's Basketball team smacks the pre-game $#!^ talk right out of #9 West Virginia, and capped it off with our Lady Gator Basketball team putting a beat down on #12 Kentucky. I was there for the Barn game last weekend; sat perilously close to the Barn bench and Sweaty Bruce. That was a fun game to see, I'll bet this one was a throwback to the '04s years.

Yes, great weekend. I saw some of the gymnastics meet on SEC Network. I couldn't believe the crowd, nearly 9,000! Do they have to pay to get in?

Losing that mid-week game to Vandy is going to hurt. They have a hard time winning on the road and will be a bubble NCAA team regardless. They'd be sitting at 15 wins right now. As it stands they likely don't get in unless they get to 20 wins.

Well, they have a solid RPI so they'd likely get in at 20 wins...but can they win 6 more? Maybe. But yeah, they are way too inconsistent.

I've seen several mock brackets that have us around a 9 seed...which usually means we're right on the bubble for an at large team.

Actually, just saw that we've been bumped up to a 7 seed on the latest mock bracket.

If we can beat KY 1 out of 2 and finish 6-4 to round out the regular season, that will leave us with 20 wins and a lock to make the tourney. Would also be nice to get a win away from the O-Dome against a solid opponent (KY, LSU or SC) in those last 10 games. Then we should win a game or two in the SEC tourney. There's some work left to solidify a tourney invite, but it's within reach with an above .500 finish the last 10 games. We got this.
