I’m not bagging on you list, just an observation, but in today’s watered down version of football, three of these plays if made today, would have been flagged. The Major Wright and Lawrence Wright hits would have been called targeting and Earl Everett continuing to play with no helmet would have been illegal participation.

3rd and 10 from the 28 yard line with eight seconds left

This was very sphincter clenching
“Doering got a touchdown! Oh my!”

Wright Vs Kent, 2nd pass Wuerffel to Doering to beat UK (1st pass would have cost us game), Marshall juking Aurburn defender on int...Spurrier to Casey down the sidelines to beat Miss St. in '64....that's all I can remember right now and oh BTW I was there to witness all live & in person...memories I'll take to my grave as a GAtor... :jog:

TURD IN THE PUNCH BOWL ALERT!

I saw an “SEC Storied” segment on ESPN on the flight home Friday. It featured how the Langham interception of Shane in the ‘92 SEC championship game was a pivotal play in SEC history. They interviewed a bunch of the players from that game and got their perspective all these years later. It was tempered somewhat knowing how successful we were going to be after that game/season.

I was there for that game in Birmingham. In fact a couple buddies were on the team and they rode back to Gainesville with us. Nightmare play. If there was a thread about 10 worst plays that would be right up there with Warrick Dunn, Lindsey Scott, and Tommy Frazier. But lets not do that one.

That’s an excellent list and probably would be what my own would look like. I might actually swap Perine’s TD, as great as it was, with Gus Scott‘s pick-6 against uga in 2002. Otherwise, probably about perfect.

Hambrick’s play doesn’t get enough attention. Every aspect of it is insane.

Ben Hanks intercepted an option pitch on the goal line vs Arky in the sec championship game and took it to the house….

Jack Jackson catches the ball in the flat vs uk, almost tackled into end zone, houses it.

Fred Taylor taking it to the house vs FSU 97.

Tony George 88 yd interception return vs Peyton Manning 97.

Jarvis Williams almost killing Miami RB with a murderous hit 86.

The double pass vs Bama in the sec championship.
