One of my bests…1994 SECCG with Gators down in the 4th against Bama. Danny W trying to get the comeback win and goes down after getting rolled up on. Backup Eric Kresser comes in and everyone thinks It will be a safe play but Spurrier has him air it out for a 35yard completion to the Bama 40. Danny immediately comes back in and finishes Bama with the final TD drive. Go to 58 minute mark below to watch..

We were faking injuries before it was cool to fake injuries.

Legendary NY Yankees announcer Mel Allen makes the call on the video.

For you old Gators out there, I give you Larry Smith's third quarter 94 yard run in the 1967 Orange Bowl which broke Georgia Tech's back. This one has gone down in Gator lore as Smith's pants falling down, but that was not the case. It was actually his clean hip pads that were sliding up.

Monty Grow's hit on WVU QB Studstill in Sugar Bowl. Hit him so hard and made him see stars---he was confused at trying to put his chinstrap on. Never did do it right. Grow knocked the daylights out of him.

And it was successful, but Kresser did his best Graham Mertz impression and we’re fortunate that Houston(or HIll?) had about 15 yards of separation to be able to come back to it. Awesome play. Terrible pass.

1989 at Death Valley at night. Refs put one second back on the clock after what LSU thought was the last play in a tie game (before there was OT in cfb). Arden Czyenski kicks a 41 yard FG to win the game.

We had about 12 of us there on a big drunken road trip. We re-enacted the game winning kick about 20 times in the front yard of the LSU Delt House.

On the drive back the next day we stopped in FWB for lunch at a buddies house and watched at Brent Musbuerger came on TV and announced that Galen Hall had been fired.

Edit: Just went back and watched it, I forgot that you couldn't stop the clock by spiking the ball back then either.

Just rewatched that game. I remember the final kick and then Hall being fired the next day, just when it felt like we were trending. But I’d forgotten how Emmitt tried his best to blow it getting tackled in bounds on that next to last play. Dude is straight garbage.
