I know we've done favorite Christmas songs, but some just go better with some of the different festivities that are going on during Christmas. We've got a family get together planned for this Saturday at the lake. It's my side (Panhandle Reds) so there'll be gag gifts, most all in poor taste or embarrassing, and plenty of hooch. At some point, I'll reflect on Christmases past and play my favorite song from my teenage years when I realized becoming an adult meant having to give up much of your youthful naivete...
Music seems to have the power to lighten the mood or extend the low. However you choose, it can really provide a great backdrop to any situation and amazingly attaches memories to its notes and melodies that can be recalled as needed. Please add if you are so inclined.
