Again BS. Just stop stating your blue talking point opinions as facts
The 2018 midterms had more to do with who voted than anything else. The votes for democrats for both young voters (under 30) and older voters (over 55) was up by around 10% each. The percentage of voters in the 30-55 set was down significantly. In the younger voters you had a lot of those who liked the socialist disciples of Bernie, and in the older voters you had those who the dems convinced were going to have their Medicare taken away by the republicans (dems chose fear over facts - stop me if you've heard that one recently). Couple that with the huge numbers of House Republican incumbents who decided to step down, losing the incumbent edge, and you end up with the dems taking the house. The republicans didn't really know what to do with it anyway.
Exactly. Doesn’t bother me in the least. The RINOs are happiest as the opposition party.
The moral GOP?!? That would be the former wing, now deceased, that never kept promises, capituated whenever challenged, and lied about closing the border?
Fair points. I can't see him winning reelection unless he wins the independent vote by five points or more and gets 15% of the black vote and 30% of Hispanic then I think he'll win both the Electoral College and the popular vote. But it's a fine line that's for sure. And yes his unpresidential behavior and tweeting is turning some Independents off no doubt.
Add in the fact that several Republicans retired due to their rule of rotating power in committee, for another reason.
