FSU Sophomore backup QB Sean Maguire had never started a collegiate game and had only thrown 26 passes in his career. After getting the nod to start halfway through the week, he finished the Clemson game 21/39 305 yds, 7.8 a completion, 1 td, 2 int.

Clemson also started their backup Deshaun Watson, who finished 19/28, 266 yds, 9.5 yds a completion against the number one team in the country.

Both buried our starting QB's stats.
