Thanks NV...this was me and two of my baseball teammates driving into town for practice late '70's. The Commodores, Kool and the Gang, Boston, or the Stones would come on and that's how we'd ride...facial expressions, gyrations, and our best dance moves in my old worn-out mustang. How we never wrecked is beyond me. Forty years gone, but still good memories. Thanks again!

Canadians, but cool never the less. Also, if you take a second glance at 3:15, you will see why we often have such incredible kill ratios in Muslim countries.

We used to love jumping to this. Sky dive naked from an aeroplane.

Ok boys let's rock the house.

C2, I saw the Stones about two years ago. Dudes can still put on a show. Couldn't believe it.
They sure have defied the odds (some of them, at least). Mick must be alternating Viagra and Metamucil. Glad you got to see them. Who knows how much longer them and the other classics that still try and tour will be out there. Kansas is coming to Tallahassee in the fall and while they aren't quite up there with the Stones, me and the missus might try and catch them. Missed Peter Frampton when I was ailing. All these groups were part of my heyday and resurrect some good memories.

I've always had a few Rolling Stones tapes or CDs in the dash of my car or in my library but I wouldn't say I was a dedicated fan. A friend convinced me to go. I was basically spending time with the dude I don't get to see much. If he weren't going then I know that would not have gone. I'm glad I went though, it was a great show.

I fully expected them to strum a few riffs then let the contract musicians do the work. Hell no. Those eighty year old men bounced around the stage for three hours. Astonishing.

It was also interesting how many young people were there. Way more than I expected.

Who could have imagined Keith Richards living this long?

I also saw my first Kiss show this year too. Very powerful and amazingly well orchestrated. kissward cartoon characters when I was growing up. Not cool to me. They did a great show also. Must have spent a fortune on fireworks & lasers. They didnt have an opening act and the show ended earlier in the evening.

Guess some old dudes still have it. Gives me hope that I have more in the gas tank. I dont feel it most mornings.

I hear you. The Kiss reference makes me want to change my name to Dr. Love (but the Duke would never go for that!). Can't say I feel all the world like an "Urban Toreador" when the sun comes up, but I get up. Heck, if Keith Richards can do it, I know I can! Thanks for sharing, Law.

My first road trip as a high school senior - Orlando 'Tangerine' bowl.
We were about 15-20 feet from the stage:
