Where is the Florida-Georgia series headed?

It's really interesting to observe the momentum swings.

The series stated in 1904, in Macon, with a Georgia win. We didn't play again until 1915. No games from 1921-25. We didn't win again until 1928. Georgia was a bytch early on.

Georgia also dominated the '30s and '40s, we (under Woodruff) from 1952-63.

Then came Vince Dooley. Phucker.

I probably don't need to add what happened until Spurrier arrived in 1990. Fourth and Dumb, Run Lindsey, Run. I'd probably look 62 instead of 63 if not for that period.

Spurrier completely changed the trajectory. Maybe that's why we love him so much.

The direction the Cocktail Party Series is headed is... Unless we start consistently recruiting at the level Georgia is currently recruiting at or, better we will continue to lose... They simply lined up this season and ran over and through us while exploiting our weaknesses on defense - see Stiner trying to cover a speedy slot receiver. They do not have better coaching, they have better players.
