Sometimes at work, I have to use a roughly 4ft x 4ft x 4ft water tank holding 300 gallons of water. The setup of the tank takes several hours and is ultra precise. The problem for us is water evaporation. Not only in the constantly changing height of the water, but also the temperature. The water in the tank is roughly 2 degrees cooler than the room temperature due to evaporative cooling.
Anyway, our solution was to float ping pong balls on the top. Solved both our issues.
Back to reservoir, that’s going to be a hell of job when they have to switch them out. And you just know there will be some unforeseen problem that these will create.
