Your first four are big dudes that fit the read option offenses they were recruited for. Its been well documented that Winston is a fat ass. The last two have size and about a decade on him. Brees is 6' 209. Average out him and Brady, where Grier's hieght is, and he is just right

That is a good point about the read option, but I think 225 is almost ideal for a 6'3"ish QB in the SEC sue to the punishment from the defense...and if you have a O-line like Swiss Cheese. If he is closer to 6' as Ox thinks he is, I do feel the 215 is a good weight for him. However at 6'3" and 225 is very comparable to 6' and 215

According to the recruiting link I provided earlier he was 6'3' when he came to Florida.
Oh. I forgot that High School height and weight stats are never inflated.

My stepson is 5'11", and they had him listed at 6'2" in high school.

The stats are inflated in college, too. In fact, the only time we know for sure what a real height and weight is on a player is at the NFL combine. Those are accurate.

He's been in UF's system for about 19 months, with no real strain on his body. The 43 lbs is very doable over that time frame, especially if he never did serious weight lifting.

This, coupled with a growth spurt and intense diet, is very doable.

I said "spurt."

Then what isn't inflated? I have given you two different sources and you jump on them like I got them from Cowboy or something. I think he is about 6'2" and if I were a betting man it would be more like 6'1.5". Hell I wouldn't be surprised if he is closer to 6'3" by the end of the season.

Are you sassing me? :ban:

I agree with you that I think he's probably between 6'1" and 6'2".

My bad. From my end it was like you were the one questioning me. Hell I there out there two different sources that you kept saying I was the slow one, and you were still trying to tell me that he was 6' if he was lucky. I even agreed with you that if he is 6' then that was a good weight for him. I guess I have spent too much time on the Politics Forum and I need to remember to.....

Follow the logic. So we've got consensus that H.S. heights and weights are inflated, college phys-stats are inflated, yet
this whole thread started from an article "proclaiming" a 43 pound weight gain -- that couldn't be inflated ?
