" Sadly, the end is drawing near.
Probably only days away now.
Coach Boom is about to become Coach Bust.
You can just sense it as you roam the hallways of the University of Florida athletic offices, looking into cheerless eyes and talking to somber people who believe this could well be Will Muschamp's final week as the head coach of the Florida Gators.
Even Muschamp himself knows this week's edition of the Florida-Georgia game might morph into The World's Largest Outdoor Farewell Party."

I think he will learn from this experience and make a comeback someday. He will def get hired as a DC. And then he will be given another shot as HC. I know it sucks to fail on such a large scale, but people who learn from their mistakes have made big comebacks.

I might hope so but his overly emotional nature will prevent him from being considered any time soon to be a head man. Now at a smaller school that would be more likely but it pays less than DC. If he is smart he will be careful in taking any jobs, he does not need the money.

If his tenure here is analyzed properly, I pity the next school that hires him as a head football coach.

He will be a decent DC somewhere next....he never should have been anything more than a DC. Some just aren't cut out for it. At least he has tons of $$$ for his efforts, I doubt I would be so handsomely paid at my job with that failure rate.

Goodbye and good luck Will!

Zero chance he gets hired as a HBC. Could you imagine how terrible he would be at a lesser school with little talent?

I don't see him getting another head coaching job in the near future and if he does I don't see him being very successful. I think he'll be a decent dc again.

Is anyone excited about Saturday? We are 12.5 point underdogs!

But what if he wins out with a freshman QB (Treon) and we have the 'Champster back in 2015.

WAKE UP! You were dreaming again.....

I know, but I find myself as nervous as I've been at any event in my life. I never want the Gators to lose, but I afraid if they win the plug will not be pulled on the Muschamp regime.

Just beat the leghumpers then worry about the rest.

I think its cool now that black coaches like Tomlin can become retreads like the old days. Used to be they would hire an old coach over and over before a Tomlin got a chance..............Does Cignetti get some attention by the NFL. Anyone watching the Oklahoma game tonight

Tomlin may just take one year off before coaching again
  • gatordad3 gatordad3:
Would this require negotiations since Tomlin had another year on his contract?
