49-0: Kerwin Bell's offense held scoreless!

I didn't expect such total domination. Strong's seat may be getting very warm... 7 straight L's!

Loved Charlie when he was here but he’s not HC material, obviously. Had a good run with a really good QB while at Louisville but he’s done nothing since.

Yep, Strong has proven himself not to be head-coach material. He needs to juggle his coaching style into something that works.
Of course Wisconsin probably came in underrated. Hope USF can upright the ship as the season goes, just because of Gator connections.

Well, looks like USF sure got their money's worth with Kerwin Bell! Zero points, what an effort. Couldn't even manage a score in trash time.

Let's take a look at the box score:

USF QB's: 16/33, 131 yards, 2 interceptions
USF RB's: 23 carries for 26 yards (long of 19, so that tells you about the others)

Cronkrite: 6 carries for 9 yards and 3 catches for 23 yards.

Only bright spot is that they don't play Wisconsin again this year.

Didn’t watch the whole game, but the play calling was solid. The execution (either QB decisions or WR hands) was not. This isn’t completely on KB, but he’s got work to do.

Felt bad for the old Gator, USF was in over their heads and out matched , I don't think Spurrier in his prime could have helped.

Was he ever? I was at that awful beat down in Knoxville his first season, but even then he managed to get a FG. Pretty sure it was their only SEC loss that year.

Gators hung tough the first half. I think the score was 3 - 3. Then Dale Carter returned the second half kick-off for a touchdown and it was Rocky Top the rest of the way. I think that's when Spurrier knew what he had to do to get Florida to the top.
