FPI simulates 2020 SEC football season: Upsets, multiple playoff teams and more surprises
This goes through a scenario in their simulation where the Gators win the title. Would be a heck of a fun season. They have us beating Georgia by two touchdowns, beating A&M by 32, but losing to LSU and nearly losing to Mizzou. We then go on to beat Bama in the SEC title game by 16, beat Ohio State in the playoffs (we come in as the 3 seed) by a final minute field goal and then beat Texas in the title game by two touchdowns.
Oh, and Georgia also has losses in the regular season to Bama, Florida and (wait for it) Miss. St.
Please let it be so....
Their simulation has us winning the title in 1.2% of simulations.
What say you?
